Impact you will have

As Fundraising Manager - Retention and Growth, you will be responsible for maximising the lifetime value of supporters through sophisticated segmentation, personalised engagement, and stewardship strategies.  This is an opportunity to use data driven insights to make an impact on donor centric decisions, keeping the supporter at the forefront and having their best interest at heart

You'll be integrated across the entire fundraising team to lead all post-acquisition supporter development activities, ensuring seamless donor journeys that deepen engagement and increase giving across the supporter lifecycle.

This will include overseeing the supporter care team and mid-value program.

You will:

  • Design and implement supporter journey strategies to build loyalty and reduce attrition.
  • Lead retention, loyalty and mid-value programs, collaborating closely with acquisition, philanthropy, and partnerships teams.
  • Establish data-driven frameworks, predictive modelling, and reporting tools to inform strategy and measure impact.
  • Manage supporter communications across multiple channels, including inbound phone and email enquiries with the supporter care team.
  • Oversee income and expenditure, forecasting, and reporting for your portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists and coordinators to achieve ambitious goals.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Proven experience in retention, donor development, supporter care, or broader fundraising leadership.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to design and implement fundraising strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Data-driven mindset, with expertise in segmentation, predictive modelling, and data governance to inform and optimise supporter engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Proven budget management and financial skills, including forecasting, reporting, and ROI measurement.
  • High adaptability and change leadership, able to champion innovation and continuous improvement in fundraising approaches.
  • Solid project management capability, balancing multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep commitment to improving health outcomes.
