The Role
As our Digital Marketing Specialist (Fundraising), you'll play a key hands-on role in delivering strategic digital fundraising campaigns across a diverse mix of causes.
You'll develop and implement digital marketing strategies, manage social media paid campaigns, create engaging content, analyse campaign performance and manage projects end to end - helping our clients exceed their targets whilst maintaining the highest level of client service.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW (Surry Hills office, near Central Station), with flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Account Manager & Creative Specialist, Director and our small, collaborative team of digital fundraising experts, you'll:
- Develop and deliver digital marketing and fundraising strategies
that attract, engage, and grow supporters across multiple channels.
- Project manage client campaigns
from concept to completion — running planning sessions, managing timelines (in ), and keeping things on track.
- Craft compelling content and creative
across email, social, digital ads, and landing pages that inspire action and deliver results.
- Manage and optimise ad campaigns
across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and more, driving ROI and supporter engagement.
- Collaborate with clients and partners
to build strong relationships and identify opportunities to add value and grow accounts.
- Contribute to new business
by supporting proposals, onboarding new clients, and helping Bigfoot continue to grow.
- Analyse and report on campaign performance
, using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio to provide insights and recommendations.
- Champion innovation
, bringing new ideas and creative energy to how we support charities to grow their impact online.
About You
- You'll bring solid experience in digital marketing and a love of using data, creativity and content to deliver measurable impact. If you have experience in fundraising or NFP marketing, that's a huge plus — but it's not essential. We can teach you the sector, if you bring the skills, curiosity, and heart.
- What is essential is your why — you care about purpose, you love seeing results, and you want your work to make a genuine difference and have some useful digital marketing skills – especially in Meta advertising.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in digital marketing (agency or client side)
- Strong skills in social media marketing and content creation
- Experience managing paid ads (eg Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Confident using analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio)
- Great communication and organisational skills — you get things done
- A creative eye and flair for writing engaging digital content
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, close-knit team
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field or a relevant qualification
Bonus points if you bring experience in:
- Fundraising / charity marketing
- UX, landing page design or optimisation
- Email marketing and supporter journeys
- Raisely, Funraisin or similar platforms
