Wara Sushi is

seeking a dedicated and experienced chef to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is a full-time leadership role ideal for candidates with strong culinary skills and a passion for team management.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead kitchen and front-of-house teams, and ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. Your culinary expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support store operations and staff coordination
  • Lead kitchen production and uphold food safety standards
  • Train and supervise team members
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and supplier communication
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage staff and workflow effectively
  • Understanding of food safety and operational procedures
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese) are a plus
