We're Dresden — making eyewear sustainable, fun, and people-first. We're looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to take the lead at our West End store. If you're passionate about helping people see better, thrive on hands-on work, and enjoy leading a small, driven team, this role is for you.

About the Role

You'll be the heartbeat of the store — leading the team, supporting customers through their eye care journey, and making sure every day runs smoothly. From customer service to operations, you'll keep things organised, upbeat, and aligned with our mission. You'll have real autonomy, a supportive team behind you, and the chance to make the store your own.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a small optical retail team
  • Oversee daily operations: customer experience, stock, and store presentation
  • Handle customer engagements and day to day reports
  • Support optometrists and ensure smooth clinic days
  • Keep performance and scheduling on track
  • Assist customers with frames, lenses, and fittings
  • Interpret prescriptions, take precise PDs, and recommend lens solutions
  • Train and mentor team members in dispensing and store procedures

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in optical dispensing or team leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident, friendly communicator with a team-first mindset
  • Passionate about creating excellent customer experiences
  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting in a busy retail environment
  • Weekend availability
