The Role

A great opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our day shift operational team at our Braeside facility. In this role you will lead the production team and play a key role in overseeing our team's operation in order to maintain our exceptional product standards and continued smooth running of our production line. You will also ensure company quality standards are met and proactive corrective action is taken when needed.

The Tasks

  • Supervise daily bakery operations, including mixing and baking processes.
  • To improve the culture and focus on team development.
  • To provide strong, hands-on leadership, especially around people and culture, open communication channels and cross training.
  • Meet targets in a dynamic and fast-moving business.
  • Ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, HACCP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies
  • Focus on WHS focusing on LTI and Incident frequency reduction year on year

The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A qualified baker or equivalent experience is preferred; however, not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.

Day shift operates on a 12 hour, 7-day rotating roster per fortnight working from 6am-6pm.
