THE ROLE & WHY JOIN US

You'll support our continued growth in this newly created position, as National Business Manager, Hotels & Accommodation. Based in Sydney but with a national focus, you'll lead the Hotels & Accommodation channel. This role offers you:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As our National Business Manager, Hotels & Accommodation you will manage and drive the strategy for the channel across Australia. You'll do this by:

  • Managing the H&A channel with an entrepreneurial approach within a supporting framework
  • Negotiating trading terms, commercial agreements and deals
  • Spending time on the road, face to face with your customers and the H+A team
  • Working closely with the H+A team, winery partners and the brand team
  • Maintaining Key Account agreements, price files and activation calendars
  • Ensuring all data, terms, tenders and such are up to date
  • Organising & managing the key account calendar for Hotels & Accommodation
  • Developing growth plans for key groups and new business
  • Working closely with the Group State Managers across the country

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate your success as a senior sales leader, ideally with experience in the Hotel & Accommodation sector. You'll also bring:

  • Account

    : Proven ability to manage key accounts with a deep understanding of the on-premise landscape, from venue level through to head office.
  • Activation Leadership
    : Hands-on experience planning and executing successful on-premise activations that drive engagement and results.
  • Commercial Acumen
    : Skilled in negotiating trading terms, managing P&L, and overseeing budgets to deliver strong financial outcomes.
  • Exceptional Communication &
    Presentation
    : Confident and adaptable when engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from Heads of Procurement and Hotel GMs to winery partners, building strong relationships through outstanding people skills.
  • Thrives in
    Complexity
    : Comfortable navigating layered business structures and working effectively in dynamic, multifaceted environments.
  • Industry Knowledge
    : Brings valuable experience from senior roles such as Hotel Manager or State Manager in wine distribution, with a solid understanding of hospitality and beverage industry operations.
