Your opportunity

As the National Manager, Partnerships & New Business, you will lead strategic partnerships, new business and commercialisation across the Mirvac Retail portfolio and broader Mirvac asset classes. The role will be accountable in ensuring optimal pop-up retail uses, brand activations and partnerships that generate revenue performance and delivering exceptionally, memorable and rewarding experiences for our partners, operators, customers, guests and communities. To lead a team of high-performance specialists, incubate long term clientele, develop, innovate, and manage new business models and income streams across Partnerships.

Your responsibilities will include:

Work with the Retail Leadership Team to incorporate group targets, ensuring all strategic activation and partnerships actions align with business planning and strategy.

Proactively growing revenue-based opportunities and sourcing new business and high-quality commercial partners

Innovating and activating brand and experienced-based new retail and new uses across the Mirvac portfolio, delivering increased financial performance

Managing and growing new and existing national partnership accounts at a portfolio level

Formulate national partnerships and revenue generation process, performance and deliverable projections to deliver on targets, contribute to reduced vacancies, activate mall and space revenue, and grow overall new retail revenue streams.

Oversight and development of short- and long-term activation and brand partnership plans. In collaboration with Director Retail Leasing and Director Marketing deliver on a whole of Mirvac portfolio and asset revenue approach.

In collaboration with National Manager, Retail Development Strategy and Director Retail Leasing deliver on the Residential, Office, Industrial and Build to Rent retail revenue and activation needs.

Providing accurate and timely financial property reporting and analysis for Retail Leadership Team and Mirvac Leadership Teams.

Leading and growing the commercialisation and partnerships business, monitoring performance and expenses and initiating corrective action and strategy modifications.

Together with Director Retail Leasing

Drive new revenue streams and utilise existing digital investment to maximise Mirvac ROI

Lead assessment, testing and implementation of our new criteria assessment tools, metrics and measurement into our day to day

Develop portfolio opportunities and work with Director Retail Leasing & National Manager Retail Development Strategy to ensure inclusion of strategy in SAPs.

Introduce, maintain and grow partner, operator and new revenue relationships. Ensure relationships are genuine and ongoing, facilitating solutions to revenue strategy and complex repositioning opportunities for assets both operationally and future development.

Owners' representative for new nonretail revenue stream partners across Mirvac Group responsible for maximising transaction investment outcomes and co creation and partnership opportunities. Collaboration will be required with Residential, Industrial, Build to Rent, New Business and Group Development & Office to service Mirvac's broader needs and best interests.

Support and provide strategic recommendations to National Marketing for strategic brand programs, multi-channel media and comms, digital and guest journey, partnership and collaboration actions.

Continuously seeking innovative ways to lease vacant shops and drive sundry income, that are relevant to the customer experience.

Dealing with issues promptly and efficiently, and ensuring both the asset and pop-up retailers are meeting the conditions stipulated under the lease/ license agreement

The ownership and management of administration processes, documentation, and associated data integrity across all systems

Reviewing market data and trends and adjusting asset strategy to deliver favorable financial outcomes

Managing and maintaining the accuracy of information on each asset's collateral

Developing and delivering improvements and maximizing efficiencies of the Partnership procedures and documentation process

Monitoring, reforecasting, and prudent financial management to meet or exceed budget targets across the portfolio

Proactively engaging with industry bodies, and emerging retail industry concepts and trends, unlocking new business opportunities

Continuously reviewing and refining each Centre's Curation, Media Sundry Strategy alongside the Mirvac Retail leadership team to ensure budget achievement and overall vision for the centre is achieved.

Working collaboratively with the National Marketing team to deliver a calendar of experiences and curated events across the Portfolio.

Your point of difference

Indicative industry experience guide: 10+ years.

Proven track record of leading and developing a sales team. Extensive transactions and significant partnership and partner management capabilities.

Proven track record in building a strong external network and relationships which lead to new business

Strong commercial/financial acumen with experience in the preparation of strategy, business case, feasibility study and financial models

Proven ability to consistently hit and exceed KPIs and revenue targets

Proven track record of exceptional management, leadership and development of a high-performance team

An innovator with the ability to think outside the box to resolve asset repositioning and performance goals.

Entrepreneurial and curious mindset with a keen interest in accelerating business outcomes

Excellent decision making, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity

Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills

Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills

Ability to build long lasting collaborative relationships

Ability to unlock complex problems, to enable development & repositioning opportunities

A collaborative, professional and empathetic approach to dealing with customers and operators
