Finstro Australia is in need of an Enterprise Business Development Manager. As an EBDM, you will drive business growth by acquiring new business within defined verticals. We are looking for a self-starting individual who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complicated problems with limited oversight.

The Enterprise BDM is pivotal to the growth of our business and will be responsible for connecting, qualifying, pitching, and closing sales with our enterprise clients. You will work directly within the Direct and Enterprise sales team to identify high-value prospects and the strategy to reach them. You will be key in finding and closing new partnerships in the B2B trade finance market. Finstro's Trade solution allows businesses to offer finance to their (business) customers in the short-term trade market.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Prospect and onboard businesses in specific industry verticals
  • Proven network within the B2B commerce sector and familiarity with finance to leverage existing relationships
  • Contact enterprise decision-makers and understand their potential requirements.
  • Be a consultative partner to prospects and customers, with a deep knowledge of their strategic direction and business needs Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building a value proposition for solutions into the customer
  • Effectively manage sales pipeline and accurately report on sales figures
  • Partner closely with the key internal teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of each merchant partner
  • Work closely with key parties to maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Analyse and explore business and market trends and stay updated about new technological developments and trends taking place in the industry
  • You will have a deep understanding of the industry, competitors, and trends, along with developing customer-focused sales acquisition strategies that drive sustainable growth within a portfolio of leads.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of Enterprise B2B Sales experience selling working capital solutions
  • Strong understanding of cash flow metrics and working capital operational levers such as Financials, Credit, or Payment solutions required.
  • MUST have B2B Enterprise Sales experience, with a developed network.
  • Robust familiarity with business loans and financing and debt products
  • Knowledge of financial technologies, ERP systems, mobile apps and be comfortable dealing with, talking about and demonstrating technology centric financing solutions
  • Strong knowledge of industry and market trends and developed network of prospects and find ways to sell to multiple decision makers. Strong technical and analytical capabilities – Excel required, familiarity with Microsoft applications.
  • Expert interpersonal and negotiation skills and the willingness to have difficult conversations with people.
  • Experience in engaging directly with customers and forming relationships.
  • Advanced financial understanding and budgeting skills
  • Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks at the same time.
