What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Accounts Receivable team by proactively following up on overdue payments and resolving disputes or complex cases
  • Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to billing, payments, and customer accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to financial transactions and credit management.
  • Process and allocate incoming payments accurately and promptly - EFT, BPAY, Direct Debit and Credit Card
  • Provide reception coverage during staff lunch breaks and annual leave
  • Help manage tills and coordinate banking activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior credit, finance, or accounts receivable role
  • A strong understanding of credit evaluation, risk mitigation, and collections
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • A hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership of complex challenges
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounts receivable role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available).
