The Role

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead the development and refinement of financial models that underpin strategic decision-making, long-term planning, and scenario analysis across the organisation. Your insights will support the executive team and board in navigating complex funding arrangements, operational planning, and future growth opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, excellent modelling skills, and a passion for making a difference in the aged care sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, funding analysis, and scenario modelling.
  • Lead financial modelling related to aged care reforms, including impact assessments for changes to government funding or compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational and executive leaders to provide financial insights that inform strategic planning and service delivery models.
  • Analyse current and projected financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities that may impact sustainability and service quality.
  • Support the preparation of long-range financial forecasts and business cases for capital investment, service expansion, or transformation projects.
  • Contribute to board and management reporting through clear visualisation of modelling outcomes and key performance metrics.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
  • Extensive experience in financial modelling, planning, and analysis, ideally within health, aged care, or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Deep understanding of government funding models and financial compliance requirements relevant to aged care in Australia.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modelling software, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports for senior management or board audiences.

Essential Criteria:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
