The Role
In this pivotal role as a
Sales Executive
, you'll leverage your established sales experience to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closure, and drive enterprise and mid-market client acquisition. We have a strong marketing team which creates a constant stream of inbound leads helping you to win some exciting clients and take the sales team to the next level
Role Responsibilities
- Identify and create new business opportunities to expand our national footprint
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities
- Organise professional sales presentations/demonstrations of aXcelerate, including a summary of the prospect's key requirements and pain points and tailored to suit their needs and branding
- Create competitive and engaging business proposals and pricing information
- Prepare tender processes and documentation to ensure a consistent, high-quality submission, including negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts
- Research and build a prospective client list and evaluate market entry opportunities for our key prospects
- Become a subject matter expert for our competing markets, monitor competitors' sales and services offering strategies to optimise market share, and identify emerging trends/threats within the market
- Track and record all sales activity in our CRM
- Attendance of conferences and events, including some interstate travel
Key Requirements
- Highly refined B2B solution selling skills, including demonstrated experience selling to and negotiating with 'C' suite
- Experience selling strategically to multiple stakeholders in medium to large organisations
- Track record of winning significant key enterprise accounts
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience developing growth strategies and plans
- Demonstrable history in consistent attainment of targets and KPI's
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to create and develop business proposals, business case documents, contracts and other documentation
- Confidence in the ownership of the end-to-end sales process - from lead generation and outreach to deal negotiation and closing
- Experience in the SaaS or tech industry will be highly regarded
