THE JOB

We're looking for a results‑driven Sales Director who can open doors, nurture relationships and convert opportunities into long‑term managed‑service agreements. If you flourish at networking events, love translating growth pain points into practical IT marketing roadmaps, and are equally comfortable with warm inbound leads and proactive outbound outreach, you'll thrive here.

You'll be the commercial lead for net new customer acquisition, working alongside our Technical Strategists, Campaign Delivery Team, CEO and COO to drive growth. Although no direct reports yet, we are investing in our Growth team and this role may take managerial responsibilities in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build Managed Services pipeline through digital prospecting, outbound follow-up, industry attendance, partnership alliances and driving sales meetings;
  • Support Campaign Delivery Team to drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities with existing accounts and identifying how we can provide more value for our clients.
  • Lead new client onboarding and early discovery workshops to understand current marketing environment, pain points and growth plans
  • Scope and draft managed services proposals, quotes and statements of work.
  • Present business cases and proposals to C‑level and non‑technical stakeholders, addressing ROI and risk reduction.
  • Negotiate contracts to closure, meeting revenue and GP targets.
  • Align with service delivery on resourcing, timelines and hand‑off to onboarding.
  • Provide clear handovers and remain the "voice of the customer" during the first 90 days.
  • Represent TechTent at industry trade shows, partner conferences and events to generate leads, enquiries and sales meetings
  • Contribute to thought‑leadership content (blogs, webinars) that generate demand.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline in HubSpot (or similar) and deliver weekly/monthly sales metrics to the Managing Director.

YOU'LL DO WELL HERE IF YOU HAVE:

  • 3+ years' success selling either marketing services, IT services or professional services to SMB sized organisations (ie selling directly to the CEO or owner)
  • Demonstrated track record of
    meeting or exceeding

new‑business and recurring‑revenue targets.
- Solid understanding of marketing services and how they can drive sales pipeline
- Polished communication, presentation and proposal‑writing skills; able to translate tech jargon into business value.
- Strong organisational skills—juggling multiple leads without dropping the ball.
- Comfort collaborating with both local and offshore technical resources.
- A genuine curiosity for emerging tech and how it can solve real‑world business challenges.
