Registries Project Officer – 1.0 FTE (Hybrid)
- Located near Chatswood Station, hybrid work – 4 days WFH, 1 day in office

THE ORGANISATION
The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) is a health promotion charity whose mission is to lead, support and enable all health workers and researchers who aim to prevent, cure, and relieve disability caused by lung disease. The TSANZ is the only Peak Body in both Australia and New Zealand that represents all health professionals working in all fields of respiratory health.
The TSANZ is a leading advocate and provider of evidence-based policy for the prevention and management of respiratory conditions in Australia and New Zealand, undertakes professional education and training, and is responsible for significant research administration.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Registries Project Officer to join our dedicated team. This role is central to supporting our Clinical Quality Registries (CQRs) and advancing lung health outcomes across the region.
You will work closely with the Registries and Clinical Quality Subcommittee (RCQS) of the Board, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide administration and secretariat support for registry operations. The role also includes supporting registry sites, coordinating events such as registry summits, ensuring data quality, and promoting registry communications across TSANZ channels.
This is a maximum-term two-year, full-time position.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong project administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in clinical quality registries, clinical trials, or related research governance.
- Ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe PDF (knowledge of REDCap desirable).
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle sensitive information.
Education
A recognised degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience in clinical quality registries, clinical trials, or research support. What matters most is your strong attention to detail, project administration skills, and ability to work collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes. Experience in respiratory health or lung physiology projects is highly desirable.
