About the Role

As Supporter Engagement Specialist, you'll lead the development and delivery of a high-impact mid-level giving program. You'll craft compelling communications, build lasting relationships, and drive strategic growth in supporter engagement. Working closely with fundraising, marketing, and communications teams, you'll ensure every donor feels valued, connected, and inspired to deepen their impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Support

  • Support the Senior Fundraising Manager in planning and executing donor strategies
  • Benchmark best practices in mid-level giving through industry engagement
  • Develop and optimise a mid-level giving program focused on acquisition and retention
  • Collaborate across departments to align stewardship, messaging, and campaigns

Donor Acquisition, Stewardship & Relationships

  • Identify target audiences and craft tailored messaging across channels
  • Build strong relationships with mid-level donors through personalised stewardship
  • Lead stewardship activities including the quarterly Paws for Thought newsletter
  • Foster long-term engagement through meaningful touchpoints and donor journeys
  • Qualify donors for transition to major gifts

Analysis, Reporting & Improvement

  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify prospects and assess performance
  • Monitor donor engagement metrics and deliver actionable insights
  • Report regularly through Salesforce and other systems
  • Drive continuous improvement of stewardship tools and processes

Stakeholder & Cross-Team Engagement

  • Collaborate across fundraising, marketing, and communications teams
  • Engage with external stakeholders and agency partners to support program goals
  • Integrate mid-level giving into the broader fundraising ecosystem

You're a relationship-builder with a strategic mindset and a passion for donor engagement. You thrive on storytelling, data insights, and creating meaningful experiences for supporters.

Experience and Education

  • Experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, or mid-level giving programs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data analysis
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management skills
  • Alignment with RSPCA's mission and values
