**About the role**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for the Social Media accounts, Website and CMS Management.
- Develop, implement, and execute the calendar of organic Social Media content for the RSPCA Qld page and social enterprise pages in line with brand social media strategic pillars
- Provide guidance and training in social organic as required for enterprise and shelter location pages managed by the local team
- Develop creative and/or coordinate creative resources for social media calendar execution
- Manage and maintain Looker Studio and Power BI reporting, including monthly optimisations based on performance insights
- Provide guidance, oversee, and execute as required, organic social media moderation
- Working with the Marketing Manager to develop the Social Media Strategy
- Liaise with internal teams to organise and publish timely website content in a CMS environment
- Creation of campaign specific landing pages utilising best practice techniques for optimal results
- Coordination and upload of RSPCA Qld's digital comm assets
- Provide best practice UX/UI recommendations
- SEO support working with the communications team
- Support the IT team with troubleshooting web related issues
- Google Business Listings information and visual presentation for all brands
- Regional Area Marketing engagements across Queensland (working with the Marketing Manager)
- Marketing team administration support as needed.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
- 2 years’ experience in developing content for and managing social media channel
- 3 years’ experience with CMS systems (highly regarded: Sitecore, Salesforce Experience, Wordpress, Funraisin)
- UX and UI knowledge highly regarded
- Excellent communications and problem-solving skills
- Eager to upgrade skills on an ongoing basis
- Autonomous management of workload, priorities, and deadlines
- Ability to work with the Marketing team and cross-departments to understand the organisational strategy and needs, and interpret into marketing requests for execution
- Genuine interest in animal welfare and the objectives of RSPCA.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week, based at the Wacol Animal Care Campus. Remuneration is commensurate with qualifications, experience and skills.
