About the Role

As Supporter Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a key role in growing RSPCA Queensland's donor base across vital fundraising streams including Gifts in Wills, regular giving, cash donations, and mid-level programs. You'll help design and deliver multi-channel acquisition campaigns that inspire new supporters and deepen engagement with our mission. Working within a collaborative and purpose-driven team, you'll contribute to a culture where "All roads lead to gift in Wills at RSPCA QLD."

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition Development & Execution

  • Support the development and execution of donor acquisition programs across multiple giving streams.
  • Contribute to the Gifts in Wills acquisition strategy to grow confirmed bequestors.
  • Help embed a culture of proactive gift in Willspromotion across RSPCA QLD.
  • Assist in implementing acquisition activities including:
  • Direct mail campaigns
  • Digital strategies
  • Telemarketing initiatives
  • Print media and inserts

Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to align acquisition efforts with broader campaign strategies.

Project Management

  • Assist in managing acquisition projects from concept to execution, ensuring clarity, quality, and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor donor engagement and campaign performance, providing insights to refine future strategies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of acquisition tools and processes.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with fundraising, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign delivery.

Who We're Looking For?

You're a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for donor engagement and animal welfare. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring initiative, attention to detail, and data-driven decision-making to everything you do.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Fundraising, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in donor acquisition, regular giving, gifts in Wills, or appeals programs
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is highly regarded

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication skills, especially in donor-facing content
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities
  • Comfortable working with fundraising metrics and extracting strategic insights
  • Proactive, collaborative, and ethical mindset
  • Genuine interest in animal welfare and alignment with RSPCA's mission and values
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including manual handling up to 10kg
