Performance Marketing Strategist

We are Buttr, a creative performance agency that helps eComm brands grow fast through bold creative and paid media. We work with some of the most exciting names in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, and we are now looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist to push performance, guide strategy, and deliver real results for our clients.

This role is for someone who lives and breathes paid social and paid search. You understand how creative and media intersect, and you know how to translate data into strategy that scales (profitably). You are commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and you thrive on making numbers move in the right direction.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning paid social and paid search campaigns end to end across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platforms

  • Building growth strategies for eCommerce clients that balance scale, efficiency, and creative iteration

  • Analysing performance data, spotting trends early, and adjusting strategies proactively

  • Connecting ad account performance with client balance sheets and tying media data back to real business outcomes

  • Working closely with creative strategists to brief, test, and optimise high performing ads

  • Translating complex campaign performance into clear client facing insights and recommendations

  • Staying on top of platform changes, auction dynamics, and growth trends that impact performance

  • Collaborating with Client Success and Creative to ensure campaigns are commercially aligned and outcome driven

Who You Are

You are a performance first marketer with a strategic edge. You do not just know how to run ads, you know how to make them work for the business behind them.

  • 2+ years hands on experience running paid social and paid search campaigns (agency or brand side)

  • Deep understanding of eCommerce growth metrics like MER, ROAS, CAC, and LTV

  • Comfortable managing budgets from $20k per month to $500k+ per month

  • Sharp analytical skills, fluent in spreadsheets, dashboards, and platform reporting

  • A natural problem solver who can diagnose performance issues quickly

  • Strong communicator, able to simplify performance insights for clients and internal teams

  • Ambitious, curious, and hungry to help brands scale beyond what they thought possible
