As an experienced payroll professional, your standard responsibilities will include:

  • Fortnightly end to end payroll processing
  • Managing the documentation management of all Payroll paperwork.
  • Processing of international transferees / assignees, mass payroll changes, workers compensation related adjustments
  • Escalation point for the Payroll Officer to assist in resolving complex payroll issues
  • Interacts with the regulatory bodies inside Australia jurisdictions as required.
  • Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Remain up to date on all payroll legislative changes and how they apply to employees, including PAYG, state tax and legislation, superannuation, new leave types
  • Participates and may lead continuous improvement reviews and initiatives
  • Payroll Tax reconciliation and submissions
  • Year-end processing and Single Touch payroll.

As the ideal candidate for the role, you will have at least 3-5 years end to end payroll experience within a large organisation. Adp Payforce experience would be a distinct advantage.
