NUTS & BOLTS:

  • End to end payroll for circa 1,000 employees using Dayforce on a monthly basis
  • Interpreting leave entitlement calculations and concepts
  • Termination calculations
  • Understand Superannuation processes
  • Compliance with company policies, government legislation and attend education
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements as the company continues to grow
  • Monthly payroll process for all states and entities to meet monthly deadline
  • Record keeping and administration of payroll function
  • Strong numeracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Maintain external payroll-related relationships
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

ABOUT YOU:

  • End to end payroll experience of around 3 years - don't need to know everything (for example training on Payroll Tax will be provided if required)
  • Good with numbers/Excel
  • Aptitude to pick up payroll concepts (retro entries, taxation, leave accruals and can explain the calculations and components of a payslip)
  • Can discuss the breakdown of a termination/redundancy pay
  • Worked with a payroll inbox responding to employee multiple and varied queries,
  • Good English skills
  • Corporate presentable
  • A self-starter, confident in asking questions and offering solutions
