Timber Truss Estimator – Immediate Start | Richlands, QLD

We're currently seeking an experienced Timber Truss Estimator to join our team at our brand-new Richlands manufacturing facility in QLD. This is a business-critical hire, ideally suited to someone who is already experienced in timber truss and frame estimating, or a detailer ready to transition into a less pressured, more focused estimating role.

About the Role

As a Timber Truss Estimator, you'll provide detailed, accurate, and precise estimates for the manufacture, supply, and installation of timber house frames and trusses. You'll work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality, timely solutions to our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing detailed technical drawings and/or plans for installation of house frames & trusses
  • Understanding customer specifications and recommending fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans with accuracy
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and timelines align
  • Ensuring compliance with customer documentation and relevant standards
  • Contributing to a positive team culture in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

This is a hands-on, technical role with minimal room for onboarding or training. We're looking for someone who can step in with confidence and capability from Day 1.

Must-Have Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years in an estimating or detailing role within the Timber Frame & Truss industry
  • Proficient in MiTek 20/20 or MiTek Sapphire (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Multinail or Pryda design software will also be considered
  • Experience with Hyne Design and MiTek AutoBEAM software
  • Solid understanding of the NCC (National Construction Code)
  • High-level skills in mathematics, technical analysis, and problem-solving
  • Prior experience with Posi floor systems is highly desirable
