About Us: We are a small client side consultancy focused on solving problems and managing remedial works on residential apartment buildings. We manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, involving careful planning, coordination and excellent communication.

The Role: We are seeking an experienced, proactive Project Manager to join the team. You will work closely with the Director to manage various types of projects including coordinating investigations, preparing scopes of works, managing consultants, tendering and managing rectification works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outline the project requirements and develop high level scopes of work.
  • Identify milestones, deliverables and resource requirements.
  • Create work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, timelines and project delivery plans.
  • Develop and maintain project communication plans.
  • Track and report on project tasks and milestones as the projects progress.
  • Prepare consultant briefs to obtain quotations and fee proposals from external consultants (engineers, architects, surveyors etc.).
  • Preparing scopes of work and requests for tender to obtain tender submissions from contractors.
  • Analyse and compare fee proposals and tender submissions.
  • Communicate with consultants and contractors to resolve discrepancies and clarifications.
  • Prepare assessment reports for consideration by clients and stakeholders.
  • Administer building contracts on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinate and attend project meetings, taking minutes and distributing communications.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as project manager or contract administrator, ideally in both the delivery side and client side of construction projects.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with email management tools, calendars, task management software, and common productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and handle confidential information with discretion.
