Customer Service Representative

Location: In-store & Warehouse – Wetherill Park

Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Reports To: Store Manager

About the Role

We're seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to handle phone and email enquiries, support in-store customers, and assist with freight coordination. You'll play an essential role in ensuring every customer receives prompt, clear, and helpful communication — from first contact to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Communication

  • Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information on products, pricing, freight, and delivery options.
  • Handle over-the-counter enquiries and assist walk-in customers.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by delivering exceptional service every time.
  • Manage online and phone sales transactions efficiently.

Operations Support

  • Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with drivers.
  • Weigh, measure, and prepare consignments for shipping.
  • Complete administrative tasks to support smooth store operations.
  • Track and trace consignments, providing delivery confirmations when required.
  • Maintain store equipment and work areas.

Training & Compliance

  • Complete PACK & SEND e-Learning programs and webinars.
  • Follow Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) policies and PACK & SEND's Code of Conduct.

About You

Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary School or Certificate IV in Retail/Business (or equivalent).

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in customer service, retail, or logistics.
  • Previous experience handling customer calls and emails preferred.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident phone manner and professional email etiquette.
  • Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office, web-based systems).
  • Organised, accurate, and detail-oriented.
