Painting Trainer / Teacher – Gold Coast

Are you an experienced painter who loves sharing your skills and knowledge? We are looking for a passionate and qualified Painting Teacher to join our team in Gold Coast.

About the Role

As a Painting Trainer, you will deliver hands-on training and assessment for students enrolled in Certificate III in Painting and Decorating and related programs. You'll help students develop their practical abilities, understand safety procedures, and build the confidence needed for success in the painting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess accredited training in Painting and Decorating.
  • Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and assessment materials.
  • Support, guide, and mentor students throughout their learning journey.
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance with RTO standards.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent qualification).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).
  • Proven experience in residential or commercial painting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and safety practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 – $61.88 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
