With a long history as New Zealand's premium Decorative Paint brand, and with industry recognition of excellence in product, marketing, colour and eco-friendly technology, Resene Paints continue a planned expansion into the Australian market. We now have an upcoming and exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and customer focused Shop Assistant for the Resene Trade Centre located at Coolum Beach, Qld. The position required is 2.5 days per week (20hrs).

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be required to both maintain and contribute to Resene's high standard of commitment to customer service excellence and delivery, via both trade and retail sales

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • A record of, and commitment to excellence in Retail and Trade Customer Service
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong trade account relationships.

Previous experience within the Store environment in Decorative Paint and a genuine interest and passion for colour and or design would be favourably viewed but not essential.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic multi-tasker, who is searching for an exciting career opportunity with a Company targeting significant growth plans within the Queensland & Australian market.

This position presents an ideal opportunity to work with a positive and motivated team who are passionate about paint and colour, with opportunities and advancement within the company. Providing excellent customer service levels to our clients is paramount. A detailed investment will be undertaken to train the successful applicant in all areas of the decorative paint industry including product, technical and colour knowledge.
