Our client, George & Company Painting Services Pty Ltd, is seeking a skilled and reliable Paint Trade Worker to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of surface preparation, colour matching, and paint application across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You'll take pride in delivering high-quality finishes, maintaining safe work practices, and working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Job Title: Painting Trades Worker

Job Responsibility:

· Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures

Duties:

· Paint the interiors of apartments, condos, units, townhouses and other multi-household buildings as required

· Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers, to prepare units for lease

· Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping

· Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs

· Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an efficient, timely manner

· Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects

· Meet with property managers to discuss colour and finish options as well as other design details for leasing spaces

Qualification:

· AQF Certificate IV or Higher

· 1-2 years of experience in related field

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
