Job Summary:

  • Require trade qualified and/or experience with general understanding of painting trade for painting interior and external surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and apply paint and substrates to surfaces, walls, ceilings, doors, timber, render and steel.

Tasks Include:

  • Sanding, masking, taping, gapping, brush and roll painting, spraying
  • Work on high-rise residential and commercial construction sites
  • Follow site safety and work closely with supervisors and teammates
  • Maintain clean work areas and meet timeframes
  • Ability to liaise with clients, staff and management
  • Represent the company in positive manner on project sites

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Painting & Decorating and/or proven experience as commercial painter
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial or high-rise work
  • Construction White Card or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised and capable to meet deadlines

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and team player
  • Must have basic tools, driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites on Gold Coast and Brisbane regions
  • Experience working safely at heights and EWP advantageous but not necessary
  • Good work ethic and reliable
