Passiontree Velvet Cook / Chef Full Time $65,000 - $78,000 per year The Opportunity Passiontree Velvet is currently seeking a passionate Cook or Chef to joint our dynamic team. In this full-time role you will be expected to prepare and cook a variety of flavour-infused dishes all inspired by seasonal fresh produce and a passion for the culinary arts. What You Will Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking of a wide variety of dishes with a flair for presentation and flavour consistency
  • Maintaining a clean and well organised kitchen
  • Observing and ensuring all work is done in accordance with health and safety obligations
  • Contributing to menu items and creatively working on new and traditional recipes
  • Supervising and training lesser-experienced kitchen staff / apprentices as needed

We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of at least 12 to 24 months work experience in a similar culinary role
  • A formal culinary training qualification(s), such as a Certificate III and (or) IV in the Culinary Arts
  • Experience and ability to handle a varied menu all created from fresh seasonal ingredients
  • Creative flair in presenting dishes with a strong attention to detail
  • A passion for the culinary arts and menu development
