About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef or Cook to join our team at the Tannum Sands surf club supporters club incorporated' in Tannum Sands, Queensland. This is a casual role, providing the flexibility to work around your schedule.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of meals and menu items for our members and guests
  • Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation and food safety
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver efficient and seamless food service
  • Adhering to budgets and controlling food costs
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a similar hospitality setting
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
