About Toll Group

We have been supporting our customers for more than 130 years. Today, we support more than 20,000 customers worldwide with 500 sites in 27 markets, and a forwarding network spanning 150 countries. We are proudly part of Japan Post —

About Us

We're a global logistics leader undergoing a major payroll transformation. With ADP GlobalView being implemented and UKG already live for time and attendance, we're streamlining our payroll operations and building a future-ready team. This is your chance to be part of a high-impact project that will reshape how payroll is delivered across our complex, multi-site business.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Payroll Project Specialist to join our transformation journey in a full-time permanent capacity. You'll be embedded in the payroll transformation team, helping shape the future of payroll through system testing, data validation, and process improvement.

You'll work closely with ADP, internal stakeholders, and the broader payroll team to ensure a smooth transition from manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes to a streamlined, integrated payroll environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in UAT and parallel runs for ADP GlobalView implementation.
  • Validate payroll scenarios and support configuration workshops.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to map current processes and shape future workflows.
  • Champion process improvement and help document SOPs.
  • Support cross-training and knowledge transfer across the payroll team.
  • Assist with data integrity checks, system testing, and reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure cultural alignment and project success.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience with ADP GlobalView (preferred) or similar enterprise payroll systems.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end payroll, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and comfort with manual data validation.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude—ready to "get up and go."
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Cultural fit: open-minded, curious, and committed to making a difference.

What moves you?

At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters. From food, fuel, medicine and rescue services, we keep businesses and communities thriving. Every day brings change. We see that as an opportunity. To be curious. To ask the right questions. And build meaningful connections. Because finding new ways to solve problems is what we do. With a bold vision to expand our global reach, our 16,000+ people bring a passion for progress. We collaborate in friendly, caring teams, supported by approachable leaders who give us the autonomy to quickly make decisions with impact. Learn and grow with industry-leading training, alongside talented experts. Feel empowered to take on diverse challenges and new responsibilities to move you, our customers, and our world further.

Are you excited about this role but are concerned you don't meet all the requirements? If you have similar skills and are willing to learn then we encourage you to apply anyway. We know that some people hesitate to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Toll, we value a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're interested in this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly then please talk to us – you may be just the right candidate for this or other roles we have coming up.

At Toll everyone is welcome including those of all ages, ethnicities, genders and abilities.
