Description

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and resolve any system-related issues during the implementation phase.
  • Develop and document payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Train and support staff on the new payroll system, fostering a smooth transition.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and recommend process improvements.

Profile

A successful Payroll Implementation Specialist should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll system implementation within the accounting and finance field.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within the public sector is highly regarded.
