Description
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and resolve any system-related issues during the implementation phase.
- Develop and document payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Train and support staff on the new payroll system, fostering a smooth transition.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare regular progress reports for management and key stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
Profile
A successful Payroll Implementation Specialist should have:
- Demonstrated experience in payroll system implementation within the accounting and finance field.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.
- Proficiency in payroll software and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within the public sector is highly regarded.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary package of approximately AUD 160'000-180'000 plus superannuation.
