, a division of Aspen Medical, require a
Clinical Workforce Lead
to play a crucial role in providing direction to the Virtual Health Clinical Leadership and Workforce support teams to ensure optimal workforce performance within Virtual Health. This will ensure high quality patient care through evidence-based guidelines and protocols; drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.

The Virtual Health Clinical Workforce Lead is responsible for:
- Staff selection, management, development and appraisal, specifically clinical leads and senior clinical leads.
- Participating in policy development and implementation;
- Participating as a member of the leadership team, and contributing to the development of nursing and virtual health policy for the purpose of facilitating the provision of quality nursing care;
- Acting as a consultant and liaising with internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of facilitating the provision of quality nursing care and occupational health and safety;
- Coordinating, and ensuring the maintenance of standards of the nursing care of a specific group or population of patients or clients within Virtual Health;
- Providing leadership and role modelling, in collaboration with other clinical leads, particularly in the areas of action research and quality assurance programs;
- Allocation and rostering of staff, specifically the Senior Clinical Lead and Clinical Lead work schedules;
- Occupational health; identifying, reporting and management of Health and Safety incidents is adhered to by the Virtual Health team as per HSE framework;
- Assisting in the management of action research projects, and participating in quality assurance programs and policy development within Virtual Health.
- Delivering direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management to patients or clients within Virtual Health, this may or may not include a specific group of patients or clients with complex nursing care needs, in a particular area of nursing practice within Virtual Health.
- Managing on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis between Virtual Health Clinical manager and leads.
- Performing other reasonable Clinical Personnel Lead duties as directed by the Clinical Operations Manager
- Promoting ethical behaviour and alignment with Aspen Medical's Social Purpose and B Corp principles. providing support, direction, orientation and education to Virtual Health Clinicians.
Skills, and Qualifications required:
- Registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare system and maintains an unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated contemporary knowledge and experience of Virtual Health Services
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care quality and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to be client focused, responsive, flexible and committed to deliver quality services.
- Demonstrated interest in leadership roles, with an understanding of team management principles.
- Demonstrated clinical experience and sound knowledge of quality culture and clinical governance methods and reporting commensurate with the role; including compliance assessment and auditing, collation and reporting of trends and Key Performance Indicators, and clinical risk management.
