What you'll do

Permanent full time opportunity to provide strategic, authoritative, and expert leadership, advice and direction regarding research, translation of research into practice and digital transformation issues that impact the Health Practitioner and allied health workforces.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead the implementation of major state-wide strategic research and digital transformation programs and initiatives that meets organisational priorities and objectives.
  • Demonstrated high level strategic leadership to drive and deliver strategic priorities and objectives, build high level strategic partnerships and collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders, and oversee the implementation of statewide allied health research and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate to the allocation and management of substantial research funds and manage large, complex contracts and research agreements including monitoring and reporting of funding outcomes.
  • A mandatory requirement of this role is a formal qualification in an eligible Health Practitioner profession (as listed in the Health Practitioners and Dental Officers (Queensland Health Certified Agreement (no from a recognised tertiary institution which will permit registration with the relevant professional registration board, or eligibility for membership/accreditation with a professional association.
