Your Core Objectives: Deliver strategic and profitable sales growth
As our Business Development Manager, you are a strategic problem-solver and a relationship builder. You won't just hit targets—you will develop new opportunities and expand existing partnerships with our diverse, top-tier customer base. Your success will be measured by your ability to secure new business and execute end-to-end custom projects that directly grow our customers' businesses.
You will be the bridge between our customer's vision and our expert Project and Design teams, ensuring world-class solutions are delivered, from initial concept to final delivery.
Core Responsibilities
· Strategically research, identify, and close high-value business opportunities that align with SI Retail's long-term growth strategy.
· Proactively develop and expand relationships with existing customers to secure new project scopes and maximize product utilisation.
· Take full accountability for meeting and exceeding sales budgets and accurately managing forecasting/reporting.
· Leverage your product knowledge and creative skills, including floor plan design, to craft and present innovative merchandising solutions that maximise our customers' brand presence and profitability.
· Collaborate seamlessly with Design, Project Management, and Procurement teams to ensure efficient delivery of complex, custom solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of progressive experience in a Business Development or strategic B2B sales role.
· A proven history of identifying, presenting, and closing significant sales growth opportunities.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders.
· Ability to translate customer challenges into profitable, end-to-end retail merchandising solutions.
· Strong competency in managing the full sales cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
· Experience selling product-based/project-based solutions (shopfitting, fixtures, displays, manufacturing, etc.) is highly advantageous.
