About the Role
We currently have a backlog of veterans requiring one-page pain specialist reports to support progression from Tier 1 (CBD oil) to Tier 2 (medicinal cannabis flower) funding from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). These reports are highly templated, as many veterans present with similar musculoskeletal injuries and treatments through Defence.
This is a part-time, fully remote position that gives you the flexibility to work when and how you want. You'll see an average of three patients per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $350 an hour.
What We Provide

- The flexibility for consults to be as brief or detailed as clinically appropriate

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional medical advice and treatment via secure video telehealth consultations
- Provide consult documentation and summary letters to referring GPs
- Complete templated reports for DVA submissions as clinically appropriate
- Request test results and collaborate with other health professionals where needed
- Keep your availability updated and communicate with the operations team
- Stay current with industry developments and apply best practice in your consults
About You
- Relevant medical qualifications in Pain Management
- Ability to provide high-quality patient assessments via telehealth technology
- Strong communication skills, with a patient-centred approach
- Comfortable using scheduling platforms to manage your availability
- You must be able to use a Provider number to bill in Australia
