As the
Microsoft CTO
you will be a visible leader and trusted advisor within DXC and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. You will inspire, educate, and empower clients and internal teams to adopt and scale Microsoft AI Business Solutions across industries.
Your role combines thought leadership, solution evangelism, and go-to-market execution. You'll champion DXC's Microsoft Practice's solution offerings underpinned by the Microsoft platform —helping customers realise tangible business outcomes.
Motivated and driven to challenge the boundaries, as part of the Practice senior leadership team you will drive transformation initiatives both internally and externally for greater innovation in the way solutions are designed, delivered, optimised and managed. You will collaborate closely across DXC sales, delivery, and marketing teams, as well as with Microsoft Australia's partner and co-sell network.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with enterprise clients
—CIOs, CTOs, data and digital leaders to provide thought-leadership and identify opportunities for AI innovation and transformation. - Partner with Microsoft
to co-create go-to-market programs, industry campaigns, and proof-of-concept initiatives. - Provide
technical governance and oversight into the development of reusable solution accelerators and solution architectures
for delivery of key offerings and programs. - Develop and deliver MS AI presentations
, conferences, webinars, workshops, and enablement sessions to inspire adoption and engagement. - Lead
community-building initiatives
—internal forums, blogs, hackathons, or speaking engagements—to foster a culture of innovation. - Mentor and enable delivery teams
on Microsoft AI technologies and innovations, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with best practices and trends. - Drive strategic technical capability development
in key Microsoft technologies across the Practice as executive sponsor of the Microsoft AI Business Solutions Practice community of excellence.
Skills & Experience
Required
- 8+ years' experience in
solution architecture, pre-sales, or CTO roles
, with Microsoft AI Business Solutions. - Deep understanding of
AI Business Solutions
as they relate to business transformation, outcomes and the
enablement of the Frontier Firm
. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
- Experience engaging executive stakeholders and driving technology adoption in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to
influence across cross-functional teams
(sales, delivery, marketing, partner alliances). - Passion for
community engagement and thought leadership
—blogging, public speaking, or technical content creation. - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Model
This role follows a
hybrid work model
, balancing flexibility and collaboration:
- 3 days in the office
(Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Perth) for workshops, client sessions, and team collaboration.
