Overview
MUFG Corporate Markets is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring the premium delivery of services while building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships. You'll be responsible for understanding and anticipating client needs, negotiating service agreements, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive client satisfaction and business growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for a client-focused professional with experience in relationship management or client services within financial services. The role offers a balance of operational delivery, strategic account management, and opportunities to contribute to business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with fee-paying clients, ensuring 100% retention.
- Proactively manage client expectations and anticipate needs.
- Achieve revenue targets through account growth, cross-selling, and new business opportunities.
- Ensure operational controls are followed and business risks are mitigated.
- Manage client queries, complaints, projects, and mailings, including AGMs.
- Oversee client invoicing and ensure timely debt recovery.
- Support and collaborate with the Client Service Delivery team to exceed client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual terms.
- Develop long-term relationships underpinned by trust, knowledge, and value-add.
Experience & Attributes
- Proven relationship management experience within financial services.
- Track record of managing clients and generating cross-sell or new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
