Are you an experienced Senior LegalAssistant/Paralegal looking for a full-time role with a well-established and highly regarded law firm?

Gibson Howlin Lawyers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team.

At GHL, we're a dynamic and growing firm of 8 lawyers, currently based in Cronulla and soon expanding into the Sydney CBD.

We are looking to expand our Commercial, Insolvency and Taxation team.

Your work will primarily consist of providing high level administrative and secretarial support to one of the Firm's Partners and the Lawyers in the Commerial Litigationteam.

This is a parental leave position however ongoing employment in the team will be arranged upon the return of the Senior Legal Assistant in late 2026 as GHL continues to increase its growth.

What You'll Be Doing


•    Manage Partner's diary and client appointments.

•    Be the first point of contact for client enquiries.

•    Issue costs agreements and provide fee updates to clients. 

•    Assist in preparing legal documents, including documents required for Supreme Court and Federal Court litigation matters and taxationam advice work.

•    Direct client contact for administrative matters.

•    Process time costing and prepare invoices.

What We're Looking For


•    3+ years of legal secretarial experience (Commercial Litigation, Insolvency experience preferred).

•    Excellent communication skills – Professional, empathetic, and articulate.

•    Organisational & time management skills – Ability to be proactive and juggle priorities effectively.

•    High attention to detail & accuracy.

•    Discretion & professionalism – Handling sensitive client matters with care.

LEAP experience highly regarded.
