Trainers/Assessors Legal Services

The Australian Careers Business College (ACBC) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We are looking for experienced Trainers/Assessors to join our team to support online students. The available roles are for vocational trainers with suitable training qualifications (TAE) or Adult Education qualifications and vocational currency related to BSB50720 Diploma in Paralegal Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing training and support sessions for online and traineeship students.
  • Assessing student work and providing feedback via our LMS portal (Cloud Assess).
  • Contributing to the validation of assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborating with the wider education team to support and improve the program.

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching/training experience in a vocational education setting.
  • For Legal Services, we require trainers/assessors who either (a) have broad experience across family law, property and wills and probate (e.g. practicing lawyer in Australia) or (b) a Practice Manager or experienced Paralegal with current/recent practical experience in family law, property and wills and probate.
  • Strong industry knowledge and evidence of current vocational competency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
  • Strong organisational, IT, and time management skills.
  • A TAE qualification in Training and Assessment (Certificate IV or higher). The TAE qualification requirement is set by legislation – ACBC is not able to engage trainers/assessors that do not hold a valid TAE or approved Adult Education qualification.
