This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially astute Senior Legal Counsel with 5–10 years' experience to build and lead the legal function while playing a pivotal role in shaping the business's legal framework and operational success. You'll work on multiple high-profile projects along the east coast within a dynamic, inventive organisation.

This comprehensive, hands-on role offers extensive exposure to diverse legal areas including commercial contracts, project delivery, regulatory compliance, and HR matters – perfect for an ambitious lawyer who thrives on variety, values autonomy, and wants to make a tangible business impact.

About You:

  • Admitted solicitor with 5–10 years' post-admission experience, preferably in commercial or construction law
  • Exceptional contractual drafting and negotiation skills

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk management with commercial objectives
  • Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
