About the role:

As the Head of Human Resources, you will be the key advisor to the leadership team, driving strategic and operational HR initiatives across the business. You will be responsible for:

  • Advising Partners and senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and culture initiatives.
  • Managing HR systems, policies, and reporting.
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and grow top legal talent.
  • Leading performance management, career development frameworks, and succession planning
  • Ensuring compliance with employment law and best-practice HR standards
  • Championing employee engagement, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion initiatives

The ideal candidate:

  • Extensive HR leadership experience, ideally gained within professional services or legal.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to balance day-to-day HR operations with long-term planning.
