As we continue to grow and evolve in this dynamic market, we are seeking market leading people expert to join as Head of Human Resources for Australia & New Zealand to lead our people strategy. This critical HR leader plays multiple leadership roles as the strategic HR Business Partner to the Country Chief Executive Officer Australia & New Zealand and is the geographic HR leader for JLL Australia and New Zealand. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in driving our culture, talent agenda, and organizational capability, ensuring our people remain our greatest competitive advantage. Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Act as a strategic HR business partner to the Country Chief Executive Officer Australia & New Zealand and leadership team, delivering expert guidance and data-driven insights to support business objectives; convey confidence in making recommendations, even when they may be unpopular.
- Lead end-to-end talent lifecycle management by implementing global HR programs and ensuring seamless execution across primary business segment(s).
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals supporting various business segments within Australia's matrix organizational structure, coordinating closely with regional and global HR leaders to optimize matrix relationships and drive consistent service delivery.
- Chair regular HR meetings spanning People Partners and Centres of Excellence across Australia & New Zealand, fostering collaboration and community.
- Elevate the perception of the function by providing insights on the business, market and talent; improve responsiveness to employees to ensure they are heard and concerns are addressed.
- Building strategic relationships with senior leaders and key talent to gain market intelligence on trends, competitive landscape, and organizational dynamics.
- Lead the annual compensation process for Australia across primary business line(s), ensure compliance with superannuation and other statutory requirements.
- Support enterprise-wide incentive initiatives and implement change management plans tailored to the specific needs of primary business segment(s) in Australia.
- Provide governance and oversight for Employee Relations functions across Australia, ensuring consistent processes and documentation, full regulatory compliance and driving global best practices.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Australian labour laws and regulations, proactively managing risk and maintaining positive stakeholder relationship.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to deliver top-quality recruitment to leaders and clients in the Australian market.
- Drive organizational excellence through continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience initiatives, working in close partnership with HR Operations to ensure seamless integration and optimal outcomes.
- Champion and role model JLL's values, culture, and leadership behaviours, embedding them throughout all people practices across Australia ensure all are upheld throughout the business.
- Be flexible and adaptable to a changing business environment, actively anticipating and shifting HR priorities to meet business needs in the Australian market.
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives through tailored change management strategies specific to Australian business needs.
- Assume all ad hoc responsibilities as the HR leader for the geography including crisis management and other local leadership requirements.
- This is an office-based role, with 4-5 days a week required in the corporate office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 8 years in senior HR leadership roles in Australia.
- Deep understanding of Australian labour laws, employment practices, and business culture.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of the full HR lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Experience working in a multinational corporation with ability to navigate complex matrix organizations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the real estate or professional services industry is advantageous.
