Grounds & Mote Maintenance - Hamilton Brisbane + Windsor

We are seeking a reliable Grounds & Maintenance person to join our team, assisting the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks across three properties located within a 5km radius. This is a rotating roster role with weekend and public holiday availability required.

Key Details:

  • 3 properties within a 5km radius
  • 150 rooms, 3 pools, 2 restaurants
  • Mixed accommodation ranging from economy budget to self-contained apartments - Motel Maintenance and Repairs - To keep all rooms open due to our high occupancy - No tools required all supplied

Role and Responsibilities:

Grounds and Maintenance (Rotating Roster): Must be available to work weekends / Public Holidays

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with lawns, hedging, gardens, painting, pools, cleaning, minor repairs to motel rooms, ensuring the properties are well-presented at all times
  • Rotate between three hotels as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
  • Perform day-to-day cleaning of internal and external public areas, public toilets, hallways, and grounds
  • Assist with hotel laundry and transportation of laundry to each property
  • Maintain pool upkeep and common area gardens and grounds
  • Attend to hotel maintenance items as required, e.g., minor repairs
  • This is a casual employment rotation, and weekend work will be required

Requirements:

  • Immediate start for the right person
  • RSA, police check, and medical clearance
  • Own vehicle (KM will be paid)
  • No VISA sponsorship available
