About Us

Birch Hotel Group is an expanding Australian hospitality group setting a new standard in regional accommodation. Our recently renovated Proserpine Motel and Guest House (35 rooms) is ready for a dedicated management couple to take the reins and continue delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The Role

This is a live-in, 7-day role suited to a hands-on couple ready to manage all aspects of daily operations, including guest services, maintenance, and housekeeping.

  • Oversee daily motel operations and guest satisfaction
  • Manage check-ins/check-outs, RMS bookings, and reconciliations
  • Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards (minimum 20 rooms cleaned weekly)
  • Handle administration, stock control, and financial reporting
  • Conduct or coordinate general maintenance and grounds care
  • Drive online ratings and reviews through excellent service
  • Training will be provided where required

What We're Looking For

  • Couples only – not suitable for dependants or pets
  • One partner must have building/handyman experience
  • Other partner experienced in reception and room management
  • RMS system experience essential
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills
  • Police and drug clearances required
  • Must have an ABN
  • Permanent residents of Australia only
