Project Manager – Demolition | Sydney

Our client is an Industry leader specialising in demolition, excavation, remediation and civil works with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across Sydney. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in demolition to join their Sydney team.

You'll take the lead in planning, coordinating, and delivering major demolition projects across the city, working within a business recognised for excellence and reliability in civil and demolition works.

This is a pivotal role within a company entering an exciting growth phase—ideal for a technically strong, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee demolition projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet program targets
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to drive safe and timely delivery
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to teams throughout all project stages
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience leading demolition projects - structural, industrial, or commercial
  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical understanding of demolition methods, environmental controls, and safety systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Results-driven, organised, and proactive with a focus on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
