The Organisation:

The Housing Industry Association (HIA) is the official body of Australia's home building industry. As the only national industry association for Australian building professionals, we represent the interests of the housing industry at regional and national levels. We have been representing the Australian housing industry for 80 years. Overview:

The Event Administrator supports the promotion and smooth running of HIA events and awards program, meeting budget for each event. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential elements in this role.

Key responsibilities:

Support the Event Manager and Coordinator in developing new event opportunities and delivery of the existing events program to a high standard by:

  • Creating and maintaining EventsAir and CRM Databases
  • Ongoing registration management
  • Invoice and debtor management
  • Facilitate attendee and partner communications
  • Ongoing support of event planning and delivery
  • Assist with ongoing financial management and reporting
  • Coordination of event marketing in collaboration with the Marketing and CX Teams
  • Support the Awards Program administration

  • Must work well within a team environment and autonomously
