About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Admissions, the Senior Admissions Officer will play a critical role in managing both domestic and international admissions processes. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience and the efficient execution of transactional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume admission periods with precision.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in rules, regulations, and processes within admissions and their relationship to other university functions.
  • Execute timely and accurate processing of admission-related activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of admissions policies, systems, and procedures related to both international and domestic student applications, credit, and short courses.
  • Provide advice and support to school staff and stakeholders on student admission matters.
  • Operate independently while delivering key admission functions that align with divisional goals.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in admissions, international admissions, or education is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Highly organised and efficient, with a track record of delivering quality outputs on time.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), databases, and internet research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
