Our client is a well-established, WA success story, with expertise in the design and management of technically complex multi-discipline engineering solutions and infrastructure projects. They are geared up for the continuing growth of their client base and projects under management, which means an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR : COMMISSIONING MANAGER to join their team, based in the northern suburbs.

About The Role :

This senior and critical role will be responsible for managing electrical and control systems design, installation, testing, commissioning and documentation across a range of infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with our internal engineering teams, project managers and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.

To really excel, you'll require an Electrical Trade Accreditation or Degree in Electrical Engineering, supported by 5 years demonstrated experience in electrical and/or controls project engineering. You'll also have a solid understanding of both electrical systems and automation/control systems and proven experience with shutdowns, commissioning and on-site coordination.

Here Are Some Key Responsibilities :

o   Manage the electrical and control system components of multidiscipline projects and contractors, from design through to commissioning.

o   Collaborate with project managers, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.

o   Liaise with client engineering and commissioning representatives.

o   Review and contribute to subcontract documentation and supplier management.

o   Provide detailed design input where required, based on preliminary concepts.

o   Plan and manage electrical shutdowns and interface works.

o   Lead commissioning and final handover activities for project completion.

o   Support tender preparation and contribute technical insights as needed.

o   Ensure compliance with safety, quality and engineering standards.
