We have an exciting opportunity available for a Plant Operative Pipelines to join our Networks team in Kidman Park SA, on a permanent fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Pipeline Supervisor, this role will install, maintain and monitor control and communications equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct maintenance in designated area
- Make adjustments to plant and equipment within defined limits
- Ensure plant and equipment are maintained and calibrated
- Install and check new equipment
- Monitor area of operation and make recommendations on modifications and adjustments
Your background
- Has knowledge and experience in network operations task
- Understands and demonstrates a high level of HSE compliance
- Good understanding of Work instructions and procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- HR Class licence
About The Team
Networks manages and operates local distribution networks and transmission pipelines that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including biogas and hydrogen and also the 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
