The Role

We're looking for an experienced Roof Plumber to join our growing roofing division. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their trade, can work autonomously and with a team - confident and skilled to lead and run jobs from start to finish. You'll work across a variety of roofing projects - from new builds and extensions to re-roofs and maintenance - and will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.


Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Roof Plumber (minimum 2–3 years post-qualification).
  • Ability to lead a small team and run job sites independently.

  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial metal roofing systems, including:

  • Roof sheeting and wall cladding installation

  • Box gutters, flashings, and downpipes
  • Roof penetrations, cappings, and water management
  • High attention to detail and commitment to workmanship.
  • Confident interpreting and implementing roofing plans and site specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, team members, and supervisors.
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with Australian Roofing Standards.
  • Current White Card and relevant plumbing/roof plumbing licenses.

Overview of Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage roofing projects from setup to completion.
  • Accurately read and interpret roofing drawings, specifications, and plans.
  • Install and maintain metal roofing, cladding, gutters, downpipes, flashings, and stormwater systems.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times and sites remain hazard-free.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Mentor apprentices or junior team members when required.
  • Uphold Jewelbic's quality and presentation standards on every job.
