To support our growing business, we are looking for an experienced Office Administrator/Manager to join our hard working and friendly team.
About the role
We are currently seeking to appoint a highly organised and adaptable Office Administrator/Manager. You'll be working largely autonomously in the office but will have the full support of the Edegtek team. The position offers flexible working hours (as agreed) and the opportunity to bring your own ideas, experience and improvements to the role. Responsibilities will include:
- Prompt response and follow up of phone calls, emails and enquiries
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Provide general administrative support to the team, as required
- Drafting invoices, receipts, and following up overdue accounts
- Database and records management
- Processing Payroll and Superannuation
- Managing purchase orders and inventory
- General filing and maintenance of business systems
- Coordinating with the Edgetek team, suppliers and external contractors
- Assisting with booking and maintenance schedule
- Other Ad Hoc administrative duties as required
This is a varied administrative role with diverse responsibilities requiring an exceptionally organised, agile individual maintaining the highest level of professional standards and attention to detail.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will be an experienced (2 year+) Office Administrator. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and will need to use some social media for businesses promotions. Experience with accounting system Xero is essential. Knowledge of the following programs is not essential but would also be beneficial:
- Urbanise/Linksafe/Rapid Global
- Project Software including Monday, SM8 Zendesk
- Sharepoint
You will be well adept at multitasking, and comfortable managing phone and email enquiries, with a professional and friendly approach. You will also be a team player with strong communication skills and impeccable work ethic.
